Gai Jatra is a Nepali festival, celebrated mainly in the Kathmandu Valley, that remembers loved ones who have passed with colourful street processions, playful costumes and gentle humour. Families walk together, children wear bright cow-themed and traditional attire, and the day blends remembrance with music, satire and joy. With Trendy AI Lab, you can turn one selfie into a festive Gai Jatra greeting card with AI, no design skills needed, on Android.

How to make your Gai Jatra greeting
- Open the Gai Jatra collection in the Trendy AI Lab app.
- Upload a clear selfie. Your face stays recognisable while the AI adds the festive Gai Jatra attire and scene around you. Your photo is used only to create the image and is deleted afterwards, never used for advertising.
- Add a greeting or your name if the style allows, so your card carries a personal wish.
- Generate and share. Your "Happy Gai Jatra" card is ready in seconds. Send it on WhatsApp, Instagram or straight to family and friends.
Tips for the best result
- Use a front-facing photo in good, even light so your face translates cleanly into the poster.
- Keep the background simple so the AI can focus on you and build the festive scene.
- Any framing works, from a close-up to a half-body shot; the AI composes a flattering greeting.
- A calm, front-lit selfie with your eyes open and face unobstructed gives the app the most to work with.
Sharing your greeting
Gai Jatra is a community day, so your card is made to be shared. Post it to your Instagram story, put it up as your WhatsApp status, or send it directly to relatives and friends across the valley and beyond.
