Malaysia's Merdeka Day is the country's proudest patriotic moment, when the Jalur Gemilang flies from homes, cars and shop fronts and the whole nation shares a heartfelt "Selamat Hari Merdeka." People decorate their timelines with red, white, blue and yellow, post throwback photos and send greetings to family, friends and colleagues. With Trendy AI Lab, you can turn one selfie into a festive Merdeka Day greeting card in seconds, no design skills and no editing app needed.

How to make one
- Pick a style from the Malaysia Merdeka Day collection in the app.
- Upload a clear selfie. Your photo is used only to create your image and is deleted afterwards, never used for advertising.
- Add your greeting or name if the style allows it, such as "Selamat Hari Merdeka" or a short line for a friend.
- Generate. The AI builds your festive scene in seconds while keeping your face recognisable.
- Download and share to WhatsApp, Instagram or your status.
Tips for the best result
- Use a front-facing photo where your whole face is clearly visible.
- Shoot in good, even light and avoid harsh shadows across your face.
- Keep the background simple so the AI can focus on you.
- Skip heavy sunglasses or hats that hide your features.
Sharing your greeting
Once your card is ready, download it and post it straight to your WhatsApp status, Instagram story or feed, or send it directly to family and friends. A personal Merdeka greeting with your own face stands out far more than a forwarded image everyone has already seen.
