Obon is a cherished Japanese Buddhist tradition, held in mid-August, when families welcome the spirits of their ancestors home with paper lanterns, offerings, reunions and Bon Odori folk dancing in summer yukata. It is a warm, reflective season of gratitude and togetherness, and a lovely time to send friends and family a greeting. With Trendy AI Lab, you can turn one selfie into a festive Obon Festival greeting card in seconds, with no design skills needed. Choose a style, upload your photo, and the app places your recognisable face into a gentle summer-festival scene.
